Double D Resource Services

Double D Resource Services is an Eagle County excavation and site work contractor, owned and run by Dave D'Hulster out of Wolcott. It is also the parent of two sister companies that handle the work around the dig: Eagle Locates and Double D Snow Removal.

Eagle Locates

Eagle Locates has served Eagle County contractors, property managers and homeowners as a private underground utility locating company, listed with Colorado 811 among the private locating companies serving this region. It grew almost entirely on word of mouth from excavators, plumbers, landscapers and builders who call the same number every time because it works.

Eagle Locates is now a Double D Resource Services company. Same name, same phone number, same work.

Double D Snow Removal

Double D Snow Removal handles commercial and residential snow and ice management through the Vail Valley winter.

Why they fit together

Locating tells you what is underground. Excavation works around it. Snow removal operates over the top of it all winter. Keeping all three in the same family means the knowledge does not get lost in the handoffs between contractors, which is where most expensive surprises come from.

How we work

• We tell you what we don't know. A locate report that claims certainty it does not have is worse than no locate at all. You will hear where we are confident and where we are not.
• You talk to the person doing the work. Not a call center, not a dispatcher three counties away.
• We show up when we said. In a valley where the build season is short, a locator who misses a window costs a contractor a week.
• We know this county. The soils, the frost depth, the neighborhoods where the as-builts are fiction, and the properties where nothing is where the drawing says.
